Eagle Spirit Woman



The lampwork "spirit" woman and feathers were created by Mavis Smith. They were gifted to me by a friend. This is the necklace I made with them.
It is done with my tribal Cherokee colors, the colors of the directions. The eagle is our symbol of our Creator. I used silver beads, czech faceted crystals and Japanese 2mm twisted beads in this. It is finished with a sterling silver double hook clasp.





Here are closeups of the beautiful detail of Mavis' work. The woman has eagle wings and she holds a strand of eagle feathers which wrap around her gown to the back. She has a streamer of feathers in her hair which cascade down the back. It is a beautiful piece and I am so happy to own her.
